Veritas Building & Energy Consultants assists lenders and developers in evaluating new construction or renovation proposals by providing an objective opinion regarding completeness of plans and specifications, proposed budgets and proposed project schedule.

Once a construction project is underway, Veritas reviews the draw request submitted by the owner or contractor, performs a site evaluation, records the progress with photographs and provides a written report. A comparison is made between the amount requested and the progress on the ground. An estimated "% complete" is provided for each line item drawn and for the project as a whole. Opinions regarding schedule are also provided. Additional items may include tracking lien notices and lien releases, change orders, status of inspections, adequacy of the progress, and general observations of construction quality. In most cases these reports can be provided next day. The fees vary according to the specific scope of work.
